Superintendent's Message

The primary role of our district is to build the next generation of leaders by empowering Sweeny ISD students to create their future....with pride.  It is also our responsibility to ensure that a robust, relevant, and responsive learning system exists to support the personalized needs of each student.

As Superintendent, I believe it is critical for us to unite as one community; ultimately creating a movement where everyone understands and takes ownership of their role in achieving the vision, mission, and goals of SISD.  Collaborative decision-making amongst students, staff, parents, and community members will be critical as we embark on this journey together.  I look forward to partnering with you as we unite in support of a positive culture and learning environment for our students.

GO DOGS!!!

Dr. Tory C. Hill, Superintendent
